MISSION STATEMENT: |
| The Andrea O'Donnell Women's Resource Center (WRC) at San Diego State University is a positive woman-centered, student run organization. The WRC is dedicated to providing information, education, and support on gender based issues affecting both men and women on campus. We advocate an environment free of sexism, racism, classism and other forms of individualized and institutionalized oppression. As an active organization we empower, and strive to make the San Diego community a safer place for women. |
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: |
~ Function like an actual campus resource center with volunteered “staff” and Women Studies interns.
~ Activist organization, maintaining a feminist presence on campus, raising awareness and educating others about issues that affect women on campus as well as in the community. |
MEMBERSHIP: |
| Open to those who participate actively in at least two events per month, are women-positive, queer-friendly and have an interest in helping and supporting our activities. Open to anyone, women and men alike. |
